At Stake, a “bad beat” doesn’t have to sting. In fact, it could earn you a share of a $1,000,000 jackpot when your excellent hand loses to an even stronger one. Ready to turn misfortune into fortune? Here’s how it works.

Qualifying Hands: Only the Best Are Eligible

To trigger the jackpot:

  • Hold’em: Your hand must be at least AAAJJ or stronger
  • PLO4: At least 2222x or better
  • PLO5: At least 8888x or better

How to Win Your Share of the Jackpot

To claim your slice of the prize, all of these conditions must be met:

  • The hand must reach showdown
  • Both winner and loser must use both hole cards to form the qualifying hand
  • A pocket pair is required for quads to count
  • At least four players must be in the hand
  • If the board is run multiple times, only the first board counts for jackpot eligibility
  • Players must be dealt and remain seated until the hand finishes
  • Players not dealt hole cards are not eligible

Jackpot Payout Distribution

The pot is divided among players as follows:

Recipient Percentage
Bad Beat Winner 8%
Bad Beat Opponent 5%
Other Eligible Players 3% each (split equally)

Each stake level has its own separate jackpot pool.

How the Jackpot Fund Grows

  • Hold’em and Omaha share the same jackpot fund
  • A 2.5% rake from every ring game contributes to the jackpot
  • Different stakes contribute at varying rates:
    • $2.50/$5: 56.67% of fund
    • $1/$2: 22.67%
    • $0.50/$1: 11.33%
    • $0.25/$0.50: 5.66%
    • $0.10/$0.20: 2.27%
    • $0.05/$0.10: 1.13%
    • $0.01/$0.02: 0.22%

Must-Know Terms & Conditions

  • Only Ring Game tables with the Bad Beat Jackpot icon in the lobby are eligible
  • Non-Ring Game tables do not qualify
  • Winnings are paid instantly at the end of the hand
  • Check your transaction history to view previous jackpot wins
  • Leaving the table before the jackpot is triggered disqualifies you
  • Winnings are deposited directly into your wallet

Ready to ride the bad beat wave? With thousands guaranteed on the table, every showdown has the potential to turn a loss into a windfall.
