Roobet Prediction Markets gives players a new way to take positions on real-world outcomes directly from Roobet. The feature adds prediction markets alongside Roobet’s casino and sportsbook options, with topics covering sports, crypto, politics, entertainment, world events and culture.
Roobet Predictions is powered by Polymarket. Players can trade from their Roobet balance, follow their positions from Roobet and receive winnings automatically when a market resolves in their favor.
What Are Roobet Prediction Markets?
Prediction markets let players buy and sell shares in the outcomes of real-world events. Instead of placing a standard sportsbook bet, the player chooses an outcome they believe in and buys shares linked to that result.
Share prices move between $0 and $1 based on how likely the market thinks an outcome is. If the prediction resolves correctly, winning shares pay out $1 each. If the prediction loses, those shares become worthless.
Markets can use different formats:
- Yes or No: will a specific event happen before a set date?
- Winner-takes-all: who will win a tournament, election or award?
- Multi-outcome: which listed result will happen first or by a certain deadline?
The format is easy to understand, but each market has its own wording, deadline and settlement rules.
How Roobet Predictions Work
Choose a Market
Players start in the Predictions section and browse the live markets available at that moment.
Markets can cover:
- Sports
- Crypto
- Politics
- Entertainment
- World events
- Culture
- Finance
- Tech
The available markets can change often. A market may depend on a specific date, source, price feed, official result or public announcement, so the details matter before buying shares.
Buy Yes, No or Another Outcome
Once a market is open, the player chooses the outcome they believe in.
For a Yes or No market:
- Buy Yes backs the outcome to happen
- Buy No backs the outcome not to happen
The share price reflects the current market view. Prices are shaped by supply and demand, not by traditional sportsbook odds. They can move before resolution as new information appears or as other participants buy and sell shares.
A small fee is applied when buying shares. The fee is built into the displayed share price, so the amount shown is the amount paid.
Sell Before Resolution
Players are not locked into a position until the event resolves. Shares can be sold before settlement at the current market price.
This can be useful to:
- Lock in a profit
- Cut a loss
- Exit before the result is known
- React to new information
- Change position while the market is still active
There are no fees when selling shares through Roobet Predictions.
Track Your Holdings
Confirmed positions can be followed from My Holdings.
This section lets players monitor active positions, check markets close to expiry and follow settled outcomes from the same Roobet interface.
If a market resolves in the player’s favor, winnings are automatically deposited into the Roobet balance. No manual claim is needed.
Why Roobet’s Setup Is Different
Roobet Prediction Markets is built into the same environment as the casino and sportsbook.
For regular Roobet players, the setup stays straightforward:
- Existing Roobet account
- Existing Roobet balance
- No separate prediction wallet
- No need to move funds to another platform
- Automatic payout to the Roobet balance
- Active positions visible from the account
Roobet Predictions is also peer-to-peer. Players trade against other participants, not against Roobet. Prices are set by supply and demand, which makes the format different from casino games and traditional sportsbook betting.
Roobet Prediction Markets vs Sportsbook Betting
| Feature | Roobet Prediction Markets | Roobet Sportsbook |
|---|---|---|

| Opponent | Other participants | Sportsbook model |

Sportsbook betting usually focuses on matches, teams, players, leagues and tournaments. Prediction markets are built around event questions, such as whether Bitcoin will reach a certain price, whether a team will win a major tournament, or whether a political candidate will win an election. Prices can change as the market reacts to new information.
